Sharing The Gospel While At Home.

I would like to share something that I’ve encountered and used many times to share the Gospel during regular, necessary interactions that most people have right in the comfort of their own home. So many times the person that I’m talking to Thanks Me for doing so and taking the time.

Many times, we find ourselves in conversations with phone people, representatives of the various companies that we call.
Phone Company, Insurance Company, Department Stores, Utility Companies……… the list goes on. I have found that in most cases these days, the person at the other end of the phone is required to ask: Can I Help You With Anything Else?

Answer: Yes you can, How would you like to try and answer the most important question that you will ever hear in your lifetime?
The answer: Is always a form of Yes.

If (or when) God asks you, Why should I let you into My Heaven? What will your answer be?

There response: I’m, some sort of good, I believe in Him, I’m not sure, I’m not going to Heaven….. the list goes one.

My response, That’s a good , or very truthful answer, Close but not quite the answer, would you like to know the answer?

The Bible is a History Book, It tells what was, What Is and What Will Be. People have devoted their lives to trying to disprove the prophesies written many years before they happen and yet can’t, they all happen just as it says. In the Old Testament God said that He was going to get rid of death and in the New Testament He showed us how.

In the Old Testament at the beginning, there is a whole lot of chronological order of so and so begot so an so, it was very hard for me to follow, I thought, I’ll never meet these people so why are they listed. Well, they are listed because this was one of the prophesies in the Bible leading all of the way to the birth of Jesus Christ and then from there to His crucifixion.

When Jesus was with His disciples, He told them that He was going to be crucified and would be risen on the 3rd day. They didn’t understand what He was saying, after all to them He was their savior, He came to save them. When Jesus was crucified, they didn’t understand even then, in fact they were afraid of the same happening to them and denied even knowing Him.
3 days later Jesus arose from the dead, just as He said, they all saw him, in fact more than 500 people witnessed He resurrected. The proof being that every one of them, with the exception of John were killed for saying that they witnessed His resurrection.
When Jesus was crucified, there were 3 people crucified that day, 2 on each side of Jesus. One of them told Jesus, I believe in you, Jesus answered, saying, this very day you will be in paradise with me. The importance being, Jesus was being crucified for claiming to be God, the other 2 were there because of their bad deeds. That man who said that he believed and Jesus said that this day he would be in paradise with Him, obviously wasn’t going to Heaven based on his good behavior. He was saved because he believed and had faith.

When Jesus died on the cross, His last words were It is Finished. That was because He came to earth to die and shed His blood on the cross in payment for your sins. If you were the only person on earth, Christ would have come to shed His blood in payment for your sins. It’s not our good behavior that gets you to Heaven. It is the Blood of Jesus Christ that was shed on the cross, once we believe and accept Jesus as our Savior when God looks at us, He no longer sees the sin, He sees the Blood of Jesus and we a a Free Pass into Heaven.

Now, let me ask you once again, If God asks you, Whey should I let you into My Heaven: What will your answer be?

Do you have a Bible? Take just a moment of time, read just one Book in the New Testament. The Book of John, it is all right there in that one book.

If you have any questions about anything that you read in the Bible. Go to Youtube and Type in the Name: Chuck Smith and the chapter and verse that you would like to understand better. Chuck Smith was a very humble man, a minister of God, He taught the Church the Bible from Beginning to End, Many Times…. You will enjoy Chuck Smith! I was blessed to have him as a Pasture.

Also: Need a Good Church? Jack Hibbs of Chino Hills California, He has an app that you can download and watch Church or Go there if you are fortunate to live close enough. Jack Hibbs is also a Very Humble man, He too went to Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa when Chuck Smith was the Minister there before Chuck went to Heaven.

Note: You will be amazed at how easy it is to witness with an opening: If God asked you, Why Should I let you into My heaven, what will your answer be? People stop and think, they are not offended, they have never heard the question before, there is no knee jerk reaction from them.
You will also be surprised about how many people (people who say that they are christians, people that believe in God) Do not know the answer (The Gospel). They are not aware of the Gospel or what the answer to the question is. Maybe 1 or 2 in 100 will know the correct answer.

Thank You Barry Maguire

For taking the time to do this. It is late in the game, there are so many people that need a life preserver tossed to them. Many of us pass walking dead people all day long and do not take time to toss a preserver. For those of you who do not feel worthy of sharing the Good News. God loves us, we are saved by His grace and you are a walking Miracle of creation by God. Don’t allow your guilt to get in the way, God loves us in spite of ourselves. You are not perfect, in fact, maybe far from it, Jesus Died for those sins, you are saved by grace not of yourself.
50 years of guilt came between me and sharing the Gospel. As long as we are in this body we will sin, Pride and me not accepting self perfection, got in my way for so long, I’ll get right and then get close to God.
Doesn’t work, God accepts us just as we are, Draw close to God and God will draw close to you. 50 years later, I can tell you, it works!

Have a Great Day, Better Yet, as My Sister would say………. Make it a Great Day
