Rich

My last NDE (near death experience) was on the Saint Croix River on the MN side. My boat was anchored about 50′ feet from shore in 15′-20′ of water. The shore was too rocky. So I swam to shore and obviously I needed to swim back. Later, when I was swimming back, the wind was coming out of the South at (I’m guessing) 30 miles per hour. There were white caps coming off the tops of the waves on either side of the boat, but not behind the boat where I was going to be swimming back. Little did I realize the waves were the same size without the whitecaps. I was halfway there when I was struck in the face with a roller (wave). I choked awhile and then continued. I was stuck again and this time inhaled the water and started going down. I was watching the sun disappear and giving thanks for my life and my family. It was actually rather calming after accepting my demise. Then this Voice said ‘give it one more try.’ So I did and thought I must have been in 100′ of water as it was taking so long to get to the surface. My lungs were screaming for air. Once to the surface I floundered around and needed to decide which way to go. Well, I picked the wrong direction. When I grabbed the outboard motor my hands slipped on its surface and down again I went. I tried again successfully to hold on, got into the boat and gave thanks to Jesus for saving me – once more.

Jesus saved my friend Richard on Feb. 18th of this year. We live in Maine. He was in the freezing cold water for 59 minutes. His temperature was 91 when he arrived at the hospital. There is alot more to this story, but Jesus saved him! Thank you Jesus!
