Our local supermarket changed management a few weeks ago, spotting the manager I asked him how he was liking his new function, and before I knew it he was telling me that his mother-in-law had passed away the week before. One thing led to another and we briefly talked on the subject of death, then I mentioned the shop’s Easter decorations and said something to the effect of the meaning of Easter and how many these days don’t know what that celebration is all about. (I told him it’s about JESUS) I then shared my testimony with him about what God has done in my life, I know he listened very intensely. That conversation did not take longer than 4-5 minutes, I don’t know if he’s a believer, or not, I do know that he’s on my prayer list now, together with an employee of his that works in the fresh-cut meat section, I gave her a small book called ”Jesus, fact or fiction,” written by JoshMc Dowell.( also because she said in our conversation (we also had briefly,) that she doesn’t believe in God, and if He did exist, she’s want to give Him a quick boot up the behind with her size nine shoe to speak. I could tell she was hurting and had gone through tough times, and my heart went out to her, so I consequently purchased that book for her. So, now there are two people from that supermarket I am praying for, God after all is the one who allows the seed to grow.

This story reminds me that every day people in their work places need to hear the gospel in ordinary conversations telling others what God has done for you. And that He loves them the same as He loves you. And He wants to make a difference in their lives too. Thank you for reminding me that God is Love
